If you get the chance to enjoy a Tree Tomato (Tamarillo to some) do take it. They have a unique flavour and are versatile. they will show up in other posts.

I was trying Whole wheat pasta for the first time (pretty good) so i thought I would challenge myself and make a chutney of sorts.

 
cut little crosses on the bottom of the Tamarillos and leave them in a bowl of hot water, then you will be able to peel them.
It was not a traditional chutney as I did not use certain ingredients. The flavour was good, but the next time I will likely go with Brown sugar rather than Honey. That may give the chutney more gelatinous consistency.
