Mandazi or Ndanyos


Cheffin’ it Tip : You do not need a litre of oil and a large pot to deep fry food.


I remember making these into interesting shapes as a child. We even used to braid some.


These were the basic Mandazi recipe with some cinnamon powder. I used Yeast instead of Baking Powder, but it may have been a bit weak.
