Arrowroot is a common found staple in Kenyan Groceries. It is called Nduma. I remember not liking it much as a child but developed a taste for it as I got older.

Thankful to Mom for serving healthy foods like these as a snack. Here both were boiled then drizzled in a bit of Ghee.

This is a Tamarillo (Tree Tomato). It is as Versatile as a tomato, as it can be juices, cooked or eaten raw. There is even an Ice cream that i may try. Saw it while on a Ketogenic cycle so did not jump to the chance. It is seasonally available.
