Cheffin’ it Up : A Nairobi Feast with Swedes

Had some lovely friends from Sweden come to visit Kenya. Went over to Mom’s place and made this feast. It was a group effort in cooking and feasting.


There is much goodness to mention in this post. This is a customary spread.  Will admit that I at times wonder why we do not just make a lot of one meal but I must admit there is something about having guests over and feasting on an assortment of nomness.


3 Salads, Assortment of cheeses. Was introduced to Halloumi cheese by my friends. There were Chapatis, Minced Goat Meat, Tilapia fillets, Ugali, Spinach, Chicken, Mushrooms and Tamarillos.


Part of the joy of this all was cooking and sharing it with friends.
